University of Chicago Booth School of Business (Chicago Booth) and Aalto University Executive Education (Aalto EE) will introduce two new executive programs with a focus on finance and marketing.
Chicago Booth is one of the world’s leading business schools. Chicago Booth’s open enrollment executive education programs are ranked fifth in the global Financial Times rankings. Aalto EE is an established executive education provider in the Nordic countries with growing operations in the Baltics, Middle East and Asia-Pacific. Its programs are ranked 43rd in the respective ranking.
“While esteemed academic institutions, engaged in executive development, carefully protect their independence, we anticipate that in the future we will see an increasing number of partnerships characterized by leading regional players joining forces similarly to airline alliances. As a leading institution in the Nordic countries, Aalto EE is an attractive partner for established players wishing to strengthen their presence in Northern Europe or the Middle East and Asia-Pacific. Chicago Booth is among the world’s most respected institutions in various areas of leadership, and an excellent partner for Aalto EE especially in building top executive solutions around the themes of finance and quantitative analytics,” describes Professor Pekka Mattila, Group Managing Director of Aalto EE.
The programs combine the strengths of both business schools to the benefit of their customers. The first program, delivered in September 2016, is called ”Data-driven Marketing – Understanding Marketing Analytics and Performance”. The program brings together Chicago Booth’s world-class competencies in quantitative marketing methods and Aalto University’s recognized expertize in strategic marketing.
“It is obvious that companies able to gather and utilize data from the market better than their competitors will be successful. A good Finnish example comes from the mobile game industry, where product development, marketing and revenue logics are totally dependent on the application of data analytics,” says Minna Wickholm, Business Area Director, Aalto EE.
The programs will be delivered in London and Helsinki.
