For each program, we choose the most suitable faculty from Aalto University’s and Aalto EE's own staff and visiting instructors. They have experience of executive management in global organizations, and the interface between business sectors of different types and at various organizational levels. Our programs combine practical examples and experiences with the latest academic knowledge. You can try out and test new methods and practices as soon as you return to work.

The operations of Aalto University Executive Education Ltd provide a sizeable income to the university community in various forms such as dividends, lecture fees and rents. In 2017, the financial footprint of Aalto University Executive Education in the Aalto community amounted to approximately EUR 3.1 million (EUR 2.6 million in 2016).

As a part of Aalto University we hold the 'Triple Crown' of accreditations, the three most respected business university accreditations, granted to only 0.5% of world's business schools: AACSB, AMBA and EQUIS.
In 2018, Aalto EE was ranked 39th in the Financial Times’ world ranking of business schools that provide executive education. We are therefore in the top one percent of the world’s providers of executive education. This serves as a guarantee of high quality for your organization.
Aalto EE and Aalto University are included in a range of university rankings each year. The most important of these are various listings by the Financial Times; the European Business School Ranking, the Executive Education Ranking and the Executive MBA Ranking.
Aalto EE ranked 39th globally in the Financial Times Executive Education overall ranking in 2018, and therefore is within the top one percent of executive education providers in the world. Open enrollment and customized programs are ranked separately in the FT Executive Education ranking. The overall listing is based on the total rating achieved in these two categories. The Financial Times only ranks the top 50 executive education providers. Globally, executive education and MBA programs are offered by around 4,000 institutions.
In 2018, Aalto Executive MBA was again the only Finnish program to hold onto its place among the top 100 in the Financial Times’ annual global Executive MBA Ranking. Aalto EE’s EMBA program ranks 46th in Europe and 93rd overall. Over 3,000 EMBA programs are currently being offered around the world, with only the top 100 making it onto the Financial Times' ranking. Financial Times has published the FT Executive MBA ranking since 2006, with only minor modifications having been made to the ranking criteria during this period. Alumni salary and salary development have always been weighted significantly heavier than other criteria. Over the years, 176 different business schools have featured in the ranking, but only 35 have been included every year since 2006 – Aalto EE is proud to be one of these schools.
Aalto University ranked 34th in the European Business School Ranking in 2017. The European Business School Ranking is a compilation of various Financial Times rankings: the MBA Ranking, Executive MBA Ranking, Masters in Management European Ranking and Executive Education Ranking.

Dr. Pekka Mattila, Aalto EE’s Group Managing Director, Professor of Practice, Aalto University School of Business, specializes on organizational changes, having done his doctoral thesis on actions, power and experiences of organizational changes.
Dr. Mikko Laukkanen, Academic Director, has done his doctoral thesis and lecturers about innovations and failures to innovate.
Dr. Riina Gröhn, Director, Operational Excellence, has published in the field of health and biosciences and done her doctoral thesis on probiotics.
Dr. Riitta Lumme-Tuomala, Head of Growth and Director, Russia and Talent Management, wrote her DBA dissertation about talent management. The DBA dissertation complements research on talent management by exploring the eventual benefits of talent management in various organizational contexts.
